Let’s talk Greece!

Going across the pond can be terrifying for some. I want to make it easy, fun and make some friends along the way! You CAN do your own thing whenever you’d like. This is nothing forced 🙂 My room is booked – I’m going no matter what!

Pricing will be ROUGHLY $4,000 a person, but closer to $5,000 for all in – all the things! [Based on double occupancy – bring a friend, family member!]

The Details

Flights

Flights

We will book flights in December/January. I would prefer you fly on Delta, from JFK or ATL to Athens. You MAY do what you wish – but I will be guiding those that want to fly with me. I would budget $1,200 a person for air on the HIGH end. We should get it lower :). This cost is variable. We will discuss air in detail in Dec/Jan.

Stay

Stay

This will be a mix of land tour (not required) and cruising.

  • The cruise will be The Greek Island Glow on Virgin Voyages.
    • Cruise pricing is subject to change. Currently, it is US$4912 per stateroom – $2456 per person! [As of November 2024]
    • This is all inclusive of meals, taxes and port expenses. Alcoholic beverages additional (can use the onboard credit for this!)
    • Cancel for a future cruise credit. I cannot guarantee any refunds!
    • Final Payment for the Cruise is due in April 2025. 120 days prior to sailing.
  • Pre & Post Cruise + Transfers: I am negotiating rates with local hotels in Athens! I would budget $300 per room, per night.
    • For example, if you choose to leave July 31st, we will arrive August 1st. That would be 2 nights totalling $600 roughly per room. For double occupancy, $300 per person.
    • Hotel balances to be due in Dec/Jan.
    • Transfers to be determined based on air schedules. I will coordinate!

Extras

All Extras

Activities will be a la carte – and we can add what you wish! We will coordinate the extras in early Spring – plenty of time to decide what you would like to do.

  • I will be coordinating a day tour of Athens on August 2nd. Roughly $100 US per person.
  • I will be coordinating an Athens bar crawl on August 2nd evening. Roughly $100 US per person.
  • I will be coordinating a day tour in Santorini as well as photoshoot! I am a sucker for photos on vacation. Cost TBD.
  • You can do your own thing as well – and the cruiseline offers tours as well!
  • Travel Insurance is additional – roughly $300.

Cost Breakdown:

  • Air: $1,200 [due ASAP]
  • Cruise: $2,500 [20% deposit due ASAP, balance due April 2025]
  • Hotels: $600 [due in January]
  • Optional Extras: $300-600 [due when booked, TBD]
  • Meals while traveling – estimate: $300-400 [due while traveling]

August 1st: Arrive to Athens, day at leisure. Group dinner for introductions.
August 2nd: Day tour of Athens, and evening bar hopping.

August 3rd: Board cruise!
August 4th: Santorini, Greece
Optional: Photoshoot for picturesque images 🙂
August 5th: Rhodes, Greece
August 6th: Bodrum, Turkey
Activities optional and additional cost: Cooking Class/Farmers Market or City Tour.
August 7th: Day at Sea
Relax on the pool deck or join the Happenings Cast for games!
August 8th-9th: Mykonos
Activities TBD
August 10th: Athens, Disembark and fly home!

(OPTIONAL: Italy post cruise – additional cost.)
